Sharing the Love: New Video Tutorials & Updates

Hello everyone! We hope that you are doing well and staying healthy! Needless to say, we miss you all very much. Our industry is driven by in-person connection and contact. Though we aren't able to do this now, we're happy to share that we've put together a set of video tutorials to help you stay connected with us. The goal of the tutorials is to give you some quick tips and tricks to get you through before we get to see you in person again. Check out the following short videos put together by salon manager and hair artist, Amanda Flick:

We plan to post videos regularly and make links available to you via email updates, our newsletter, and social media platforms. Of course, we want to hear from you! Have a particular topic you'd like to see or something you need help with? Drop us a line! We look forward to your ideas, and importantly, to help you feel good and remain positive. A personal note from Amanda to you: "I genuinely miss my day-to-day interactions with all of you, and the joy that making people feel beautiful brings to all of us at Portfolio. This industry is not just my livelihood but a major creative outlet for me. Not a day goes by that I don’t appreciate the fact that I make my living by touching people’s lives in a personal and meaningful way. I miss you all and can't wait to see you again - hopefully soon." It's exactly the thought that inspired her to make these videos - it's a way to stay connected to you and for you to stay connected to us!

Moving Forward

Though we miss you terribly and so want to see you, your safety and well-being is our top priority.

As you may know, Governor Wolf has extended the stay at home order through May 8th. At this time, some businesses will be allowed to reopen in phases in the counties considered safer from more infections. Given that we are a high touch industry, even if the Centre Region continues to recover, at this time, we don't foresee salons being in the first reopen phase. It is hard to predict the date we will be able to return or what our return will look like. As always, we will keep you posted through email and our social platforms as we learn more.

We are working hard to make sure that we have proper safety measures in place, and that we have adequate operational hours to accommodate you.

We will continue to cancel appointments on a week to week basis and advise that you book your next appointments into June. We are also available Tuesday- Saturday, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. for curbside product pick up, and to help you with your appointment booking needs via phone and online.

Again, when we have a solid reopen date, we will make sure to let you know. We'll also make sure to include information about any new regulations that you may need to follow as a guest, as well as other precautions we'll take to ensure your health and safety during your service.

Thank you again for all of your support, loyalty, patronage - and patience during this time. We appreciate you, always, and hope you stay healthy and safe.

As always, we will be in touch!
