New! Salon Safety Updates
We hope you're doing well and staying well!
As you are aware, we've been operating under a new schedule and new safety and operational protocols to ensure that we are compliant with current health and safety policies and guidelines. Importantly, your health and safety - and that of the Portfolio team - are our priority.
Recently, the Pennsylvania Department of Health announced COVID-19 quarantine information for travelers. Effective immediately, we will implement this guideline at the salon. If you've traveled or plan to travel to a state/area where there are high amounts of cases, we ask that you stay home for 14 days upon your return to PA. If this coincides with your appointment, we ask that you reschedule with us as soon as possible. States are listed in the link above, but we're including them here for your convenience:
Likewise, if you don't feel well or if you have any symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or a fever above 100.3 within the last 72 hours, please reschedule your appointment. We will work with you to schedule something that works best for you.
We're doing the same. If any of our team members have symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or a fever, they are not allowed to return to the salon until they’ve received a negative test result. We'll work with you to reschedule your appointment if this is the case. Again, safety is our priority for both you and our team.
A Reminder About Masks
In accordance with the CDC and PA guidelines, everyone in the salon - team members and guests - are required to wear a mask at all times. Please make sure to wear a mask upon entering the salon. If you don't have one, we'll provide one for you to wear.
Also in accordance with the CDC and PA guidelines, the mask must cover your nose and mouth. If your mask slips a bit, your stylist will gently remind you to adjust it to properly cover your face. Likewise, we will do the same, of course! Again, your safety is our priority.
We completely understand how tough this can be on everyone - and frustrating, too. Our stylists wear masks all day long, and by the end of the day, everyone is a bit weary. We know that this is a lot for everyone to handle.
Please know just how much we appreciate your patience and loyalty - especially now. It is important that we all work together as a community to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
